Doubles & Hats made the move from their New York City apartment to a microhouse in someone's backyard in South Austin. This was an intentional move, though not planned. And that is the way they seek to make every day. This blog--created in the Fall of 14'--is to document that intentional, simple, and happy livin'.
Alli is Doubles.
She likes taking pictures with her old school film camera and her trusty iPhone. Alli takes a whole lot of pictures, and luckily enough it pays the bills! She likes old diners, venturing to new lands near and far (particularly Iceland), sending handwritten cards on quirky stationary, and listening to Vashti Bunyan in the mornings.
Lauren is Hats.
She currently works at a literary agency in Austin. You can likely find her in a place with white walls and wood floors wearing hats and neutral clothing whilst reading and/or writing and talking too much about books you might like. That all being said, she loves hats and books and autumn and books and she is very happy. She also loves Bob Dylan.
